A freak snowstorm in October caused a lot of tree damage in Central Park, NYC. This park entrance was obstructed by fallen branches, but did not prevent sightseers. Branches, heavy with snow-covered leaves, were still falling as people walked through the park.

Charley watches the parade. Charley attended the 85th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The weather was sunny and chilly and he was very excited by all the activity, people, families, children and dogs. There were many balloons, including new ones like Tim Burton’s B. Boy, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Paul Frank’s Julius the Monkey as well as old favorites like Snoopy the Flying Ace, Kermit the Frog, Super Cute Hello Kitty and SpongeBob SquarePants. Charley loved the parade and had a wonderful time.

Charley loves visiting dog-friendly stores and this is one of his favorites. He enjoys checking out all the smells and everyone is very friendly to him. He’s a good boy and mostly stays in one place (“wait”) without wandering off. He follows me around without my having to hold onto his leash all the time. His good behavior is rewarded with a treat, of course.
