Charley at InstaMeet NYC

INSTAMEET

Charley participated in his first InstaMeet in Central Park. There were a lot of other people from Instagram there, too. He saw his good friend @aliveinnyc and made some new friends including @veehaws_gf and @outside_the_box. It was a warm and sunny day and he was out walking for about three hours. He visited many familiar locations and a few new ones, too.

The RAVINE
Charley had a very exciting hiking adventure in Central Park. He walked for two hours in the North end of the park, visiting many areas he hadn’t seen in a long time and discovered a few new ones, too. He explored a beautiful pond surrounded by weeping willows, called the Pool. He discovered the Pool Grotto, the source of a stream called the Loch. He followed the stream under Glen Span Arch to a secluded, heavily-wooded valley called the Ravine. He met many dogs along the way, including two Lhasa Apsos. It was a beautiful, warm and sunny day.

The POINT

Charley finds a secret spot in the park. Charley enjoyed a three-hour walk in the park and met quite a lot of dogs and people. He took a different route and ended up in a place he’d never found before in a secluded part of a wooded area. It was very quiet with no one around. It overlooked the Lake and he could see the Boathouse and Bethesda Terrace. As Charley turned to leave, another dog and owner approached, making the same discovery.
