Charley waits for his friends at the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade. Charley met Beija and her parents to watch the parade. There were a lot of people and dogs watching the parade along with them and many were wearing green. Beija and Charley made a lot of new friends. Afterwards, they both sat on the front steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and later walked around the reservoir on the bridle path in Central Park. It was a beautiful, warm and sunny day. Charley had a wonderful time and looks forward to seeing his friends again.

Charley had a very exciting hiking adventure in Central Park. He walked for two hours in the North end of the park, visiting many areas he hadn’t seen in a long time and discovered a few new ones, too. He explored a beautiful pond surrounded by weeping willows, called the Pool. He discovered the Pool Grotto, the source of a stream called the Loch. He followed the stream under Glen Span Arch to a secluded, heavily-wooded valley called the Ravine. He met many dogs along the way, including two Lhasa Apsos. It was a beautiful, warm and sunny day.

Charley visits the Angels of the Waters fountain. On the first day of the new year, Charley rode the subway then walked in Central Park through Strawberry Fields and past the Naumburg Bandshell on his way to Bethesda Terrace. The park was full of people and dogs. He met a lot of them, ran around very fast and was very happy. When he got home, there were some fresh buffalo jerky treats waiting for him. He had a very good day.
